“Our hearts still ache in sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it meant to lose you no one will ever know.”
The gathering at a funeral or memorial service is a time for family and friends to console each other and to share memories and honor a loved one. However, some may not be able to attend the gathering; and seeing a video of the service could be a wonderful way for them to remember and honor someone they cherished, even when they could not be there.
And for everyone who knew the person, being able to reflect back on the person’s life, hearing the testimonials of others, seeing old family photos, and remembering the accomplishments and milestones…can be a lasting treasure.
